On the first day of the graphics pathway we were asked to draw our partners ear. At first I thought this task was quite odd but interesting so I proceeded to draw my partners ear using charcoal. I later found out that we may have been given the ear to draw because it is one of the most detailed parts on the human body to draw as it includes many folds and shaded areas.

Below is a picture of all of my groups drawings of our ears, mine being the fourth one at the very top.

During the afternoon of our first day on the graphics pathway we made collage of a person using many different features from different magazines.
Below is my final collage.
I really enjoyed the first day of the graphics pathway because although I struggled while drawing the ear on the large A1 paper, I was still able to draw, which is probably my favourite thing to do. I also like making the collages of faces because it was something different as I have never rearranged a person's face before however I have come to realise that it gives us a surprising end result that, if done well, almost looks as though it has been photoshopped in a quirky way.
