The timeline I produced for my first week of the foundation course was inspired by Ward Shelley's arteries looking timeline. I used different lines to represent different aspects of my day such as the friends I made, my feelings and my thoughts.
The red line representing my feelings throughout the days.
The blue line representing my interaction with my first friend.
The green line representing my interaction with my second friend.
The grey line that expands and contracts representing my thoughts throughout the days.
The first drawing at the top shows the overall timeline through out the week.
During day 1 my feelings started out high as I was nervous about meeting my form tutor and the people in my group as well as tasks we may take part in, however as the day progressed my feelings calmed down which is shown through the downward gradient of the red line. My interaction with my friend Saeedah, shown by the blue line, increased throughout the day then decreased as the day came to an end. My interaction with my friend Abhirami however, shown by the green line, shows that there was no interaction and this was because we had not met yet during the first day. My thoughts throughout day 1 changed which is shown by the grey line expanding showing my thoughts increasing throughout the day as we began to take part in our activities. (Close up of day 1 timeline shown at the bottom of the picture.)
During day 2 my feelings again started out high as I was nervous but it calmed down a lot faster than day 1 as I was now more familiar with the people in my group. My thoughts throughout the day kept at a steady pace with no confusion. However my interaction with both friends on day 2 increased at a similar pace as we spent most of the day together while visiting the exhibitions and galleries.
During day 3 my interaction with my friends remained high and my feelings stayed at a steady and normal pace as I was more comfortable with the people in my group and got to know most of them too. My thought however increased again and confusion followed as I didn't understand the task of making a timeline at first although slowly, I succeeded.
